The ULTIMATE wedding spreadsheet for planning your big day.

Whether it’s a big day, a small day, an elopement or a really unconventional day - there’s no doubting that ALL weddings require some degree of planning. Ok maybe, maybe a drive thru ceremony conducted by Elvis on a drunken whim doesn’t have any planning involved but ya know, most others do.

We’re getting married in 7 months and by the time we viewed and booked our venue we had under a year to go so the planning has got real very quickly. We’re having a tiny wedding followed by a big party in February of next year and my spreadsheet has been a lifesaver when it comes to organising our weekend of festivities.

How To Draw Easy Banners For Your Bullet Journal (& Free Worksheet)

In my 'ways I make my bullet journal pretty' blog post I mentioned that I get a lot of messages from people asking how I draw my layouts, how I make my pages Instagrammable and how I make it so cute.

I'm a trained illustrator and drawing comes second nature for me - in fact when I was designing these worksheets Hannah asked me how on earth I could possibly do it freehand on the computer. For those of you who don't have a particularly artistic hand, I've created a FREE step by step guide on how to draw simple banners for your bullet journal that can be used for decorations or headers for your pages.

How To Keep Your Mini Break Packing To A Single Bag (+ FREE Printable)

It's Summer, if we're not throwing caution to the wind and booking a fortnight on some Caribbean island because we're flat broke but fuck it we need a holiday, then we're lusting after something anything to get away from home.

Having just booked 2 mini breaks or long weekends with another 2 in the pipeline, the art of packing has once again entered my brain. The mini break or the long weekend is one of the most tricky breaks to pack for. It define it as two or three (or even four at a push) nights away, it's longer than one night from home but shorter than an actually holiday and preparing for it is a fine art.

***FREE*** Bullet Journal Printable; Summer Icons

I first started sharing free printables back in May last year and I also designed a Christmas version too. Whilst bullet journals are still hot topic I'm becoming increasingly aware from comments on the look of my journal that some people struggle to make their journal look the way they want, or to create the details and doodles they want to.

With that in mind I hope to share lots more free printables, seasonal and otherwise, on the blog for you to print out, trace or copy and use in your own journals. Being an illustrator by trade I find it very easy and quick to design icons and doodles for you to use and sharing them and seeing pics of your journals is my reward.

***FREE*** Bullet Journal Printables.

Can I emphasise enough that they're free?

Last weekend I wrote about my first week using my bullet journal, a pink bargain from TK Maxx (read the original post here) and being the photo heavy post that is was, the one thing that commented on more than anything was how pretty it was.

So FYI if you are new to the blog I am trained and qualified and practising as an illustrator so design and illustration and doodling and making things look pretty is literally my business - it is how I make my money. After having 217489237592375 people tweet me like "ugh I wish mine could look like this' or saying they were pinning images to copy later I soon realised that actually if you haven't naturally got an artistic flair but want your BuJo to look a certain way, drawing like this or handwriting nice fonts and banners is actually quite difficult.

Thus the idea came into my head for this post and subsequently turned into me having a massive surge of inspiration and designing all kinds of new projects for my Etsy shop which are all at the printers.
