SEEING OUT THE LAST YEAR OF MY TWENTIES

How surreal. My twenty ninth birthday. The last year of my twenties. 365 days till the big 3.0.

Last year I spent my birthday in a pandemic. Nothing unusual, we’ve all experienced a lockdown birthday now no matter what month you were born in. This year, a sedate affair with a bracing walk on the beach planned with the family I had to stay apart from last time. Next year, I can only hope will be more normal with a bash worthy of a big birthday or a trip away.

This is 27

It’s my 27th birthday today and as with every birthday that’s come before it since the age of about 21 when it started getting a bit same old same old, I am sat reminiscing about the last 365 days and how quick it’s gone. 27 years on this planet. In that time again I’ll be 54 and probably lived a whole other life.

Twenty Something Meltdown Is Two!

My blogs second official birthday cropped up on me very quickly and uhm, actually passed me by. It was in fact yesterday that this little blog turned 2 and I celebrated by erm.....forgetting. I class this as my 'proper' blog beginnings and thus we're somehow only 2 years in? Seems like a life time. 

This time last year I wrote a 'my first year in numbers' blog post which I really enjoyed looking back on so I decided it was the most appropriate way to celebrate it this year as well.
