The Difference Between North And South Wales.

The difference between North & South Wales.

I've lived in Wales all my life, this might come of no surprise to you. Having spent my childhood in South Wales and then moved to North Wales in 2012 for university, along the way I picked up a few important differences between Welsh folk.*

*It's all in jest, nobody panic.

South Wales: Everyone up North just sounds like a weird mix of Welsh and Scouse.

North Wales: Everyone down South just sounds like a weird mix of Welsh and Posh.

South Wales: Everyone up North can speak Welsh can't they - I really should learn.

North Wales: Everyone down South can speak Welsh can't they - I really should learn.

South Wales: Where the North Welsh people at? Oh probs like Betws Y Coed or summin.

North Wales: Where the South Welsh people at? Oh probs like the Valleys or summin.

South Wales: North Wales is basically just Anglesey and Rhyl and Wrexham right?

North Wales: South Wales is basically just Swansea and Cardiff and Newport right?

South Wales: Oh wait there's like Snowdon and that isn't there?

North Wales: Oh wait there's like the Brecon Beacons isn't there?

South Wales: Wtf is in the middle though?

North Wales: Wtf is in the middle though?

South Wales: Legit never been further North than like Monmouth.

North Wales: Legit never been further South than like Aberystwyth.

South Wales: They never report on the news about North Wales? Maybe nothing happens.

North Wales: WHY DO THEY ONLY REPORT ABOUT SOUTH WALES FFS.

South Wales: SIX POUND WHAT FOR THE SEVERN BRIDGE???????

North Wales: THREE POUND WHAT FOR THE MERSEY TUNNEL?????

South Wales: Wtf is S4C on about?

North Wales: Wtf is S4C on about?

South Wales: Soispan.

North Wales: Wth is a soispan and why aren't they using a saucepan?

South Wales: HOW LONG TO DRIVE TO NORTH WALES??? No thank you, I'll take the train.

North Wales: HOW LONG TO DRIVE TO SOUTH WALES??? No thank you, I'll take the train.

South Wales: HOW MUCH IS A TRAIN TICKET????

North Wales: HOW MUCH IS A TRAIN TICKET????

South Wales: Probs just stay in Bridgend tbf.

North Wales: Probs just stay in Prestatyn tbf.

Love you little Welsh folk, whatever part of the country you live in.
