Our Wedding Inspiration
A secret Pinterest board is a staple for a brides as soon as you have got engaged no? I made mine almost immediately, made sure it was private so no guests could see the things I was planning and didn’t make it public until the big day was done.
I didn’t think I had a wedding ‘theme’. I didn’t want to limit myself, we were doing a chilled wedding I told myself. we don’t need a colour scheme. And yet, very slowly I started to realised I was pinning very similar things, the same kind of colour palettes, very samey themes.….and it became quickly apparent maybe I did have a vision in my mind after all.
Having a winter wedding definitely influenced my plans and bright florals and summer tones didn’t really fit the vibe. Instead, I always knew it was going to be earthy, sparkly, greens and greys, neutral and lots of wood and foliage and the more I looked at images of those types of themes, the more ideas I had.
