5 Minutes With My Advertisers - August 2018.
Meet my August advertisers.
It's August and we're already well into the middle of the month and yet here I am only just writing up my roundup. Can I blame any more on my new job?
Luckily this month I have a bunch of return advertisers who *hopefully* know I'll get round to it eventually and do them a service. This month I have four advertisers, who I think you'll all know by now. But in case you don't, here's an introduction to these fab gals.....

I actually did an audible gasp when I realised it was APRIL when Charlotte last advertised with me?? I genuinely thought it was like 2 months ago I couldn't believe it it's gone so quick. If you don't know Charlotte she's one of my absolute fav bloggers of the moment and you can read all about her introduction to advertising with me here.

Starting with the big news, since Charlotte last advertised with me she only went and got blinkin married! The first of August was her wedding day and she's already changed her name and been on honeymoon anddd started back at work so you can tell she's one organised little bean! One from last month, I have had this post bookmarked to share since I read it and knew she'd be advertising with me again. In the last few months Charlotte has passed her driving test (see, I told you she was a busy bee) and she's written this blog on '18 thoughts I've had since learning to drive'. I wrote a similar topic when I first passed my test and it brought back alllll the lols (and still relatable, seriously why don't people indicate anymore?)

If you're sitting there patiently waiting for the bullet journal blog post I promised back in oooooh approx 1999 then fear not, Charlotte is going a long way to make up for my lack of content and put me to bullet journal shame. She's written about a million posts lately all about her journal, how she's using it and why she's loving it but I think my favourite of late is her August bujo set up because I loooove to nosey at someone else's work.

So to end, it just had to be Charlotte's Instagram link didn't it? Not only is her feed one of my current favs but she's also the most hideously supportive person, constantly using my #diaryentryfrommyhome hashtag and messaging me probably every single day to say I am slaying my work wardrobe. I can pretty much guarantee she'll slide into my DM's to respond to an Insta story at least once a day and I think we are destined to be best Insta pals. Go follow her over here!

After me saying Hailey was taking a lil break from advertising with me in June she went and snapped up a last minute July slot AND now August. Sheer madness. You can read about her previous advertising months in November and December 2016, January, February, March, September, November and December in 2017 and also this year in February and March, April, May June and July too.

There's been plenty going on on Hailey's blog for the last month or so and she's been bashing posts out left right and centre. I think my favourites of recent times has to be her chick flicks everyone needs to see list which came in two handy parts fullll of GIFs. I consider myself a chick flick fan and yet I realised I had only seen a measly TWO all the way through from the list. I have saved both posts so I know what I'll be doing on rainy weekend nights come Autumn...... Read part 1 and part 2 here!

I mentioned a few months back now when advertising with me that Hailey turned the big three oh this year and now she's written a post all about the problems of constantly talking about biological clocks ticking and I loved it. It never fails to baffle me the audacity of people to comment on other people's lives, choices or reproductive organs but there we go. In this post Hailey discusses her choices and the problematic society behind it all.

The end of July also saw International Friendship Day and Hailey celebrated by writing a love letter to her pals. It'll make you well up and make you think about your besties and loved ones and I very much recommend you read it because there ain't nothing sweeter than telling people just how important they are to you.

And if that wasn't enough, by some miracle Hailey's agreed to advertise with me again so you'll be seeing her a bit later in the year too.....keep your eyes peeled.

Ellen has been advertising with me for a long old time now and you can read about her from a million moons ago in April, May, June, July, August. September, November in 2017 and this year in January , February, March, April, May , June and July!

The lovely Ellen is ever so accommodating and emailed me this month to say she's working away in the background on a new site and new content which I for one am very excited to see. In the meantime she's promoting ever green content on her blog which I will be sharing bits and bobs of so make sure you're following me on Twitter!

Speaking of ever green content, there's plenty to find on her blog so you'll never be short of reading material. Time saving hacks for bloggers has been one of my fav posts of the last year because lord knows we need extra time in our busy lives (me more than ever these days!)

Megan from Reflections & Ramblings is back again for another month and I am thrilled about it! You can read my introduction to Megan's blog from back in May when she first advertised with me as well as June and July.

Starting with my favourite blogging topic; let's talk bullet journals. Megan has written a post all about her August set up (srsly, do any more of my advertisers want to show me up) and I am obsessed with her layout. There's a little update from July as she's moved into a Leuchtturm (thanks for the shoutout you gem) but it's the lemon theme for this month I am alllll over. Read about it here.

Looking for new Pinterest accounts to follow? I realised someone Megan was missing from my list and oh sweet lord was I missing out. From bullet journals to blogging, from home decor to outfit inspo this girl pins it all and I am in love. 100% spending my next free five minutes obsessively trawling her Instagram Inspo board...... And finally, my last share of this post is undoubtedly my favourite. Megan has written a really cracking post all about going back to basics with blogging and I couldn't resonate more. With the constant rhetoric about the death of blogging and a serious case of blogging envy I know I have lost my motivation and it seems I am not the only one. Megan's post is so relatable and definitely one to read with your morning brew.
