Our Suppliers

Suppliers can make or break a wedding and the planning process in my opinion so if you have a good feeling about one, hang onto them for dear life. It’s worth seeing if your chosen venue or current suppliers can recommend others they like to work with - don’t forget these are professional people who have done this a million times before and they have got to know who’s the best in the industry and who is worth avoiding. Your wedding venue might also have a list of approved suppliers they won’t deviate from so worth checking that out when you’re booking too.

Our suppliers were the dreamiest bunch and made planning easy and the day even easier. They were on board with our ideas, did as much or as little as we needed from them, suggested ideas and worked with ours and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

So if you’re looking for suppliers for Cardiff, South Wales and Bristol based weddings then you’d do no wrong in looking at this lovely lot based on the Google reviews I left them…..

Rosedew Farm

www.rosedewfarm.co.uk

“From start to finish, planning a three day wedding party in 11 months was made a dream by Gaynor, Del and the entire team at Rosedew. They fully embraced our non traditional way of doing things, came up with suggestions and ideas of how the weekend would flow and gave us as much help, and as much space to crack on as we wanted. Being able to have our guests on site made the whole weekend cosy and friendly and breakfast on day three was a real welcome highlight. Could not thank everyone enough for making a windy stormy February wedding the best fun, we had an absolute blast and are gutted it's over!”

Farmers Pantry Catering

www.rosedewbarn.co.uk/farmerspantry

“Having Farmers Pantry as our wedding caterers was a no brainer for a three day February festival. We'd chosen our menu far before our taster and it did not disappoint when we came to try it out. From fish and chips, to pies, to pulled pork rolls to a huge full english for all our guests on day three - everyone raved about the food from start to finish. I waxed lyrical to anyone that would listen how reassuring I found it that the team omitted nuts completely from the kitchen and the catering to allow for my allergy and how accommodating they were with dietary requirements. I made such to ask all my veggie, vegan and gluten free guests how their meals were and they were all delighted that no flavour, texture or experience had been compromised to suit their needs. Am only disappointed I couldn't eat more from the nerves! Hugely recommended, massive thanks to Dawie, Rach and the team for all your help and countless emails!”

Bella Rose - Bar

www.bellaroseweddingplanners.co.uk

“We had Bella Rose run the bar for us at our February wedding and they went and above and beyond to make sure the weekend ran smoothly. Owning our own cider company meant a lot of venues and suppliers were off the cards but Bella Rose were incredibly supportive of our business, accommodating and keen to mash the two businesses together. Special thanks to Nat for meeting us what felt like a million times, countless emails and for running a smooth ship on the day. Huge thank you from us both!”

Simon Gough Photography

www.simongoughphotography.com

“Having been to two weddings of close family members where Simon was the photographer, I didn't even contact anyone else - I knew we were in safe hands from the start. From the initial email, Simon was incredibly accommodating and supportive of our non traditional winter wedding party and made it a blast from start to finish. Well up for a laugh, a dance and snapping away in a field in the beginning of a storm, one of our best memories of the weekend was running up and down steps with Simon whilst our nearest and dearest yelled, hollered and cheered with sparklers. We had such a fun and cannot wait to see the finished photos - the sneak peeks we've had so far have been incredible. Highly recommend, huge thank you from us both!”

The Petal Emporium

www.thepetalemporium.com

“Not having a traditional wedding was one of the biggest factors when it came to planning our weekend and from the off I knew I didn't want traditional wedding flowers, bouquets or arrangements. Working with Sarah then was a no brainer, never I have met someone so intent on creating exactly what YOU want not what you think you need to have and she was an absolute joy from start to end. She respected my gardening fanatic mother's wish to do my bouquet herself and seamlessly slotted in her own creations to the day. I had voiced to friends and family that if I DID have a wedding floral arrangement I'd quite like to have it in wellies, but I didn't voice it to Sarah, instead happily letting her have free rein on creating - so imagine my delight when she sent me a photo for inspiration of a whimsical arrangement full of field flowers and grass, all displayed in a pair of wellington boots. She has an incredible way of knowing exactly what you want and the end result, along with my floral crown was just stunning and loved by all. Two weeks on and the posies she made from the flowers on the day after the wedding are still going strong brightening up mine and my families homes. Sarah is professional, creative, easy to work with, respectful and a joy to have there on your big day. HUGE thanks from the both of us!”

Stuart Mitchell Jewellers

20a Castle Arcade Balcony

“Could not recommend Stuart highly enough for the work he did on our wedding rings and my engagement ring. I was thrilled to find a non traditional wedding ring in his shop that matched my inherited engagement ring and Stuart was so helpful in helping me find the correct gold band and resizing the both. He is accommodating, helpful and not to mention professional and we continue to be delighted with the work he did for us".’

Romilly’s

www.romillys.weebly.com

“We booked a table for 14 at Romilly's after our wedding ceremony in February and having been there before, I knew we were in safe hands feeding a huge family. The staff were incredibly helpful in the build up and asked us to pre order which made it easier for us and for them. The breakfast was delicious, the table was huge and comfortably fitted us all and everyone enjoyed a well earned fry up and enough pots of tea to feed the 500. A glass of bubbly given to us to toast our marriage was such a thoughtful touch and brought the whole morning together and we couldn't have been more grateful. Huge thank you to all the ladies, from us both!”
