5 Minutes With My Advertisers - December 2018 (the final countdown!)

Feels a bit bitter sweet writing this for potentially the last time. I have called it a day on advertising bloggers (for now at least) after two years of hard graft and lots and lots of lovely ladies sitting alongside me on my sidebar.

For December then, for the last one it feels fitting that all of my advertisers are repeats, are people who have been with me before and actually, some of the girls who advertised with me on my very very first month all them months ago.

Feeling Festive & Missing Blogging.

It’s been a minute huh?

I feel like I haven’t blogged consistently since I started my job back in July but looking back over the year I fell somewhat off the wagon back in April when I committed to ending my freelance career and started job hunting.

Using Your Bullet Journal For Work

This weekend marks four whole months of being employed and self employed and it’s taken me about that long to remove all the confidential information out of the photos of my bullet journal so you guys can see it.

It took me about three weeks to commit to a work bullet journal and I haven’t looked back. I went for navy because I am a young professional now and it’s probably got enough space to last me until January and then I’ll be into another one already I think.

Of course, everyone’s work is different so the techniques I use in my bullet journal might not work for you but hopefully it’ll give you some inspiration anyway.

Office Renovations And Inspiration

Finally finally, I have actually edited my photos of my office makeover which I finished renovating back in about August. I didn’t take any photos of the room beforehand because it was Jos’ brother’s bedroom but for those of you thinking of swapping your spare room for a home office or studio, I thought a few snaps might give you some ideas.

A Long Weekend In The UK In Autumn | Photo Diary

In my opinion there is no better place to enjoy autumn than good old Blighty herself. Sure in Winter maybe you dream of heading off to Europe for the snow and the markets and maybe a log cabin and some mulled wine but for proper autumnal leaves and forest walks, I wouldn’t stray anywhere else.

My Month In Photos (a chatty life catchup) - October 2018

Another month has flown by and another month where I had good intentions of getting back in to blogging. I am sure you are as sick to the back teeth hearing me bang on about how I am too busy to blog as I am of writing it but here we are again.

5 Minutes With My Advertisers - November 2018

So yes, the banner at the top of my blog is correct - I am finally calling it a day on blog advertising. I’ve offered 6 packages every single month for two years and I think in the face of a changing blogging community and my job change it’s time to give it a break. At least for now.

For the next two months though it’s all about the lovely people who have signed up to give these advertising slots the best send off, starting with these gems for November.

Halloween Decor Inspiration For 2018

A less wordy post from me today pals. I’ve been fretting about having these photos ready to go and no words to get out and then I realised - why do you even need words in a Halloween inspo post?

I want to get into the habit of absent minded blogging, of not fretting to make the perfect blog post, to just chuck some images for inspo up online and let you all have a nosey at my Halloween decorations.

But I digress, this isn’t about the state of blogging or where I’m taking my content - this is about Halloween for 2018 and the decorations I’ve collected over the year.

Job Hunting In Your Bullet Journal

I was job hunting for four slow months until I secured the interview that landed me this job and 84 applications later here we are. I tracked all of it in my bullet journal under the instruction of Mel and it definitely helped keep me sane when applications became monotonous.

Here’s what I tracked and why I tracked it and how it helped me job hunt…..

Migrating Bullet Journals

For some people, migrating between journals is second nature and maybe your journal isn’t year on year, maybe you chop and change whenever the need takes you but for me, it’s a new year new bujo. For 2018 I had a sunny yellow little number between January and June and now I am working from a berry one which I switched to in July and will see me through to the end of the year.

My Month In Photos - September 2018

Will there ever be another month where I don’t apologise in my introduction and then do that blogger thing of saying “I don’t need to apologise”? I blogged a mere four times in September, an all time low for this site and I feel pretty shit about it ngl. I want to keep blogging, I have SO many ideas, I have photos to edit and bullet journal posts to write but no flippin time.

Monthly Themes | Bullet Journal Inspiration

I’ve not really created a ‘title’ page or much to separate the months in old journals, preferring to move seamlessly from one to the other but liking my 2018 title page so much I decided to try monthly themes in the same style and boy am I glad I did.
