5 Minutes With My September Advertisers

Meet my September advertisers.

Soooo for the first time ever I have ALL returning advertisers filling this month's slots. This is Naomi's third time but first Gold slot, Megan and Hailey have each done multiple months and both received freebie months and Ellen has been with me continuously for about 6 months!

I feel like this is such a lovely testament to my blog, to my advertising and hopefully means I do a good job and they like being on my sidebar and actually see some benefits out of it <3 So thank you ladies for coming back time and time again - you're all absolute gems.

5.

Like I said above, this month is Naomi's third month advertising with me but the others were nearly a year ago. After booking two slots way back when in November and December 2016 but this time she is back with the top slot and I for one am thrilled.

4.

Since the last time she advertised with me Naomi has had a big of a jig with her blog design, there was much pink last time and now mint and baby blue and sexy typography and it's looking SLICK. Definitely have a mooch around and get to know her cos she's bloody lovely.

3.

One big reason I'll keep visiting a blog again and again is for variety - I love a blog who can write about mental health one day and a Primark haul the next, a reason I love Naomi. One of my fav posts of late of Naomi's is this one on self love - not an easy read and I'm sure not easy for her to write but an emotion I feel like most of us can relate with.

2.

I've mentioned this before when discussing my love for Naomi but she has a tab on her blog purely dedicated to feminism and it's well worth checking out. From period positivity (which I guest posted on) to orgasms to relationships there's a little nugget of importance in all.

1.

So if you don't already follow Naomi (there's some handy links just waiting for you below) then you might not know she lived in Japan. She's literally just moved back but her Instagram is still full of snaps of her time there and it's on a form like I've never seen before. If you're going to follow her on one channel definitely make it Instagram

It's been ages since Hailey was advertising with me - March of this year in fact and my sidebar felt a little weird when she went. Hailey was one of the first (maybe even THE first?) person to sign up to my advertising slots and she then went on to book the Silver slot right through from November, December, January to February thus earning her that cute lil freebie in March

4.

Hailey used to post all the bloody time but then she got a real life grown up job and is now understandably massively busy. Luckily she keeps her Instagram very active with THE most amazing photos of her life in Germany and also her travels - my favs being her time in America.

3.

Hailey does popular trends verryyyy well, doing a guest post for me last year on Mean Girls, writing my fav Kardashian post on her own blog and most recently on the VMAs. My top line from the post? Definitely "I’m so glad that Miley is back to showing off her incredible voice instead of dry-humping Robin Thicke."

2.

Hailey is super supportive of other bloggers both on her own site and on Twitter and she's a frequent name showing up in chats. My absolute favourite to do with Hailey is Late Night Bloggers which we haven't done in nearly long enough but it's a right old laugh and she's a top GIF user.

1.

Hailey has a lot of different tabs on her blog, some of which I have mentioned before when she's advertised with me. One I didn't spot before (or maybe she's only just added it) is her videos tab. Hailey shares some of her top clips and vids including Carpool Karaoke, real life talk from twenty something girls and the best Michelle Obama/Jimmy Fallon one of all.

Oh Megan - my blogging twinnie. After a break in August she's back and she's with me for her birthday month. Megan first advertised with me way back at the end of last year but then signed up to month and month on end. You can read what I wrote about her here; December, March, April, June and July

4.

I always mention Megan's Instagram account but honest to god it's one of the most underrated accounts ever. Saying we're twins she's on a very similar following count as me but she's worth so much more - her flatlays are A game. If you like baby pink and baby blue and the odd shot of her cute lil self then she's the one for you.

3.

Would I even be discussing Megan's blog if I didn't mention her bullet journal though? It's the thing that drove me to her in the first place and as much as I love everything she writes (no really) when she uploads a bujo post I'm all YAS QUEEN. Her latest is how she actually uses her bullet journal and there's the odd shout out of someone very familiar in there too.....

2.

There's one post I had bookmarked for when I knew Megan was advertising with me that she shared at the end of July but it's well worth going back to find. Her art journal is divine and made me want to immediately get to Hobbycraft and stock up on nice papers and washi tape so if you're in need of some enabler to tell you to do so then I suggest you head over to Lazy Thoughts.

1.

Megan has actually recently started advertising slots of her own and I went and signed up immediately in August. They're affordable, they're good quality, she's a babe and her choice of round up is actually really fun. So enjoyable actually that I have also signed up for my birthday month in October. You can sign up for advertising with Megan here

10.

I explained in this post in June that Ellen manages all three of the blogs above and she's signed up to advertise all three of them for three months running so because a lot of what I say in my round ups is about the people who run the blogs, I'm just doing one giant round up of all of Ellen's blogs in one go. You can see what I wrote in August over here

9.

Ellen signed up back in April to three months advertising with her Deals & Discounts blog and then moved onto sign up with all three blogs. You can read what I wrote about Ellen and her discounts blog here in AprilMay and June

8.

As much as I love the cuteness of vintage it's always Deals & Discounts I head straight for when I know Ellen is advertising with me and I need to choose posts to promote. There is nothing I like more than spending hard earned cash so whilst her 'savings' tab is tempting, it's the making extra cash that really gets me reading. I've also had comments on these posts when I've pinned them to Pinterest so you obvs like them too.

7.

My favourite post that Ellen recently shared was actually a bit of a niche one; it was about saving money when planning a wedding. I might not be there yet but I have always professed I'll have one of them handmade weddings and spend more money on the holiday than on one day and I nearly choked when I read the average UK wedding costs 31K.

6.

Another post whilst browsing her deals and discounts was this one on money saving beauty hacks which I thought would be very up the street of my average reader. It's tips like how to get the last out of that foundation tube and what homemade alternatives you could make and it's well worth pinning to that 'life hacks' board of yours.

5.

Since the last month Ellen advertised Feel Good Vintage with me she's had a mini rebrand and has a shiny new logo to go with it. She actually did this back in August mid advertising so you might have seen it before but if you haven't checked in since the last time I wrote an advertisers round up then go check it out - it's pink, need I say more?

4.

If you're in need of a seasonal twist in your life then this post on how to Hygge for Autumn is your bae. Maybe you're over summer or maybe even if you're clinging on, like me you're starting to think about pumpkins and wooly coats and in this post Ellen shares the 4 items you need for a Hygge filled new season. Top of my list is fluffy socks - they're my absolute go to.

3.

If you know me then you'll know I like nothing more than a nosy into people's real lives so when Ellen shared some snaps of her recent family holiday I was all over it like a rash (side note, isn't that the most vile phrase?) She recently went to France & Germany with her teen and tween as she calls them and it's full of tips on how to make the trip run smooth, plus the photos are INSANE.

2.

And if you're really struggling with your teenager (I mean, we were ALL awful) then this one on how to stay connected should be helpful. I think as a teenager you feel like nobody understands you, least of all sensible adults so keeping connected as a family in some way is super important - I know it was to me.

1.

This is the last month that Ellen is signed up to advertise with me on any of her blogs so I just wanted to extend a special thank you to her for signing up time and time again and always managing to share everything I do on Twitter! Especially thanks for being the first person to block book three months in a row with THREE separate blogs. Blogging. Queen.
